I really shouldn’t say not worth visiting because it’s an important place to a lot of people I am from BC and love the coast-I found it muggy and busy. People move soooo fast in the East….

Worth visiting!
How this place changed my life — 1 year ago
I was born and had the increadible pleasure of growing up on Haida Gwaii. I can’t say enough about it’s beauty or the intense character of the people who live there. Every small town is a whole world to the people that live there. Each town has a feel that is different and unique to the next. Take rain gear and layer up. Listen to the local people and take what they say to heart. Do not assume that because you are from a larger city that you know best. Kayakers and bush people be careful this place is not for those without a good guide, emergency supplies and common sense! Enjoy the beauty and get ready to see the most gorgeous rainy place in the world.
