My bf wants to move to Edmonton, i’m all for it. srs is corvered there, but i don’t expect to get it, long waiting list and stuff. I do think that with robin’s work ethic and ability that we could make a good life out there for a few years though, before moving on. We might be there within the next 6 months, living there

which always makes it good for me to visit. It’s also a decent place to hang out in especially for tourists. From what I’ve heard it’s not as great to live in as to visit, like most places i imagine

but i was only passing through on my way to ontario, so i didn’t see much except the highway. i think i’ll wait till i have a real visit before i check this one off

I was attending my 3rd Air Cadet camp, it was held on the St.FX campus since our usual base was filled with refugees that year. I didn’t see much of the town, and the camp was great, but that has nothing to do with the town. Can’t say I saw anything remarkable or special or all that different from the rest of NS

not relaly that it’s a bad palce, jsut that it’s really really boring, and aside from the acadian settlement everyone goes to see, and the local wine, there’s not even much of anything for tourists. However, it would make a fine stop for anyone passing through the area

But didn’t really get to know it until I moved out and started travelling around between towns by bus and on my bike. However, it’s definatly better to visit than to live in, living there lets you meet the jerks and see the flaws in the government. the usual things, you know. But the scenery is nice, and it makes a good destination for any tourist

But now that I’ve started long-distance biking, I think I’ll take a few days or a week or two to go up there and look around

I lived here for a year, it’s a decent palce to live, and a definate stop for any tourist road tripping through the Annapolis Valley. Be sure to go to the organic farmers market (i think it’s on saturdays in the summer, but mgiht be sundays), and try Billy-Bob’s Pizza, best in town imo, and don’t miss out on trying a Donair if you’ve never had one! Also, head up the hill and down the road to the old Resovouir, now a park, and just outside of town, see the petting zoo by the farm market (summer only). Great shopping down the road in new minas, and very near Grand Pre, a must-see for any Acadians, Cajuns, or those interested

been a few years, but it’s nmot too far from where I live now….

Went here many times as a kid, loved it every time! I hope to return next summer, this time on my own for the first time (maybe with a freind or bf :)
