Beautiful. Wander off the main tourist paths, and you end up in beautiful lanes and alleys that look like they’ve never seen the 20th century. Lots of history
Lots of history here. The town was destroyed in the war, though it was meticulously rebuilt to restore (some) of it’s former glory. The Reichsparteigelände, the Nazi rally grounds, are on the outskirts of the town. Not much is left of them, but enough is there to get a feel for the massive scale, and it’s a powerful experience nonetheless.
