I have lived in Kulim since I was a boy. Kulim really has taught me in every aspects of life.
Living cost is very cheap with terrace houses are rented at around RM200/month and foods are cheap to get.
Kulim has night bazaar (Pasar Malam) nightly and still you are able to buy sate at 25cents per pc.

It’s a small country but really happening. Spend 3 days in Bahrain and did not feel bored at all..Bahraini are nice people and have no problem to interact with tourists.

Where to go??..No Idea!!

Two ways to be there,
1) Pay ticket LE50 and walk to the pyramid.
2) Get the horse for LE30 per hour (2 hours) and LE50 for ticket.
Inform the guide you do not want to visit those papyrus and perfume shop.

Take the 1/2 hour Nile cruise using small boat and pay only LE2.00..Minus belly dancing and dinner.

It’s really wonderful to have the chance to visit this historical places. It’s amazing and made me wonder how these people had this kind of technology and the brain during those day to have pyramids, sphinx and the mummia.

A more peaceful city comparing to Dubai..

Negotiate the taxi fare upfront..If you dare take the van taxi where the fare is only Bz200

It was very cold. The weather is around 16 celcius day time..at night is even colder. Off course I need some time to adapt as I’m coming from tropical country where it is only rain and shine..
