Being I’ve lived here most of my life I can safely say it’s worth visiting, for a short period of time. Get some ice cream and laugh at the people who think they are cool. Then I’d recommend going to one of the local cities and finding something you really can enjoy. For people who like racing, personally I abhor it, the county race track is in West Salem and so is the county fair which is at the very least good for eating carnival food. There is a June Dairys day celebration which is altogether boring but the stories that come from the bobbing for tongues competition are always good for making you feel good about yourself. Overall a great place to go if you want to see nothing excited but at the very least it’s not dangerous and it’s located withing easy driving distance of many other, good places to visit.
