i have to admit i only visited the cafe for afternoon tea and cut through the building to get to the bridge. but it looks to be an awesome art musueum and i definitely want to go back to see the art. the gift shops were chockablock with cool stuff to buy.

expensive to get in, but well worth the 14 quid. (i got in for 11, ‘cos i had a student ID. i highly recommend using yours if you can.)

it’s sort of thrilling to stand in the same rooms where henry VIII and katherine of aragon stood. but then again, i’m a history nerd so i love that stuff.

the crown jewels were interesting, although i was disturbed that debeers sponsored parts of the exhibit. the armoury was a bit too much for me. but everything else was awesome – especially 15th and 16th century grafitti on the walls.

i saw martin freeman of the office walking around! odd!

what an amazing and beautiful city full of history. i can’t wait to go back!
