Not worth visiting!
I was not impressed
The music was good, but the food was not. At all.

Just got back from a whirlwind business trip to Vermont, but the nature of the trip meant I didn’t get to see and do all the things I would’ve liked to. From what I did see, though, I must go back. The landscape, the people, the air itself…just beautiful. Yesterday morning I awoke before my coworkers and spent an hour just sitting outside – I couldn’t get over how beautiful it was. Heck, I’d like to live there.

But I’m getting very tired of living here…I guess I’m just not a city girl.

and I’ve been back for many visits since we moved; most of my family is still there. After all these years, it still feels like home…not the town itself, but the state in general. There’s just something about all that flatness that speaks to me.
For all those years and all those trips, though, I never made it to Chicago. I guess I ought to do that someday.

My only regret is that I didn’t have more time to explore. I think the trolley tour is a good place to start, but I wish I’d been able to take more of the walking tours. I also wish I’d had more time in Bonaventure (where the photo was taken). I’ve been in a lot of cemetaries, but none so elaborate.

My mother’s been to Savannah twice on business trips, and though she didn’t get to do much there, each time she came back raving about the place. Also, my best friend lives not far from there, and I’m dying to hang out with him. ::grins::
And, I may be able to cross this one off soon. Right now the plan is to go down there for a week in October. I’m so looking forward to it!
