Not for anyone accustomed to all the creature comforts, but this is one of the last untouched, unspoilt areas in W. Africa. Excellent cuisine (French influence) and I’m told that Port-Gentil has the only calm beach in all of W. Africa. The people are extremely friendly.
over 5 years agoThis was my first trip to Europe and the first time I ever left the American continent.
Awe-inspiring. I’m from the New World and I must admit, Old World Europe was somewhat intimidating.
Beautiful architecture, people with panache and of course, the best cuisine in the world.
Go LOADED. Beaches, food and service are great.
