This is the central hub of the downtown area. It is marked by a small brick park with a fountain and is home to a handful of stores, restaurants, and pubs, as well as one of Springfield’s most popular clubs: ICON.
over 6 years agoWhen I was younger I hated living in Springfield. For a teenager at that time it really did seem like there wasn’t anything to do. Things have changed drastically since, and I have to say that the city is moving forward at a great pace. It’s always been a friendly, clean place to live and recently there has been an explosion of growth that has lead to more and more interesting places to visit. And yes, the night life has improved immensely Kandice. Clubs and pubs keep popping up. Now, if we can just get the city to allow the downtown district to keep the beer flowing until 3:00 AM ….. =)
