I have been there twice and would go again in a heartbeat. Loved the cobble stone streets, the clean town, the friendly people. Absolutely picture perfect in every way. Take the train and go further into Copper Canyon from Creel.
over 4 years agoParts of Juarez are quite pretty and worth seeing. There is, however great poverty in Juarez — as in most Mexican cities, so be prepared to see dramatic differences between the very rich and the very poor. Unfortunately, most American tourists only see the “main drag” of tourist shops and clubs on Juarez Avenue and think they have experienced Juarez. Not true.
