Salt Spring Island, Vancouver Island, Victoria, And Gulf Island Region

So much to say

I ended up finding Salt Spring in 43places after clicking on my Canim Lake Cheer from member “Waterfall”.

I used to live on Salt Spring, my mom still does, my best enemy and bossom budy girlfriend still does, and there is so much I would say.

The culture is beautiful, the island is beautiful, and my mom is beautiful. The ocean is fun, the lifestyle is fun, my girlfriend is fun. My mom and girlfriend and so many other islanders that I would like to mention are awesome. Few better places to be.

Missoula, Montana

Bob Dylan

An incredible time! It was a last minute, spur of the moment kind of thing. We had missed seeing Bob Dylan when he was closer to home so I checked out the tour itinerary on line. I found Missoula Montana; we checked a map for distance and we decided that it was must do. Within an hour I had bought my tickets online and we were planning our departure.

It was one of those trips that was meant to be. The actual concert date was on the date of our 15th anniversary, my husband and I. WE packed up our truck, and excepting one night in a hotel in Missoula, our truck was where we camped. Few things he and I do better together than camping.

Seeing Bob Dylan in concert was more than I could handle, I couldn’t believe that I would get to see someone so awesome, so legendary, so totally creative and inspired. I found myself crying in my seat, crazy huh?

Every part of that trip was worth it and seeing Bob Dylan was just icing on the cake.

Oh yeah, and the views a great.

The photo was actually taken on route, the formation was so perfect for an anniversary photo. We rested the camera on the hood of the truck to snap this with the timer.

Canim Lake, Cariboo Chilcotin Coast

Untitled

Actually I don’t recommend this place to visitors, the less the merrier for me. However Cariboo Country is large and really worth your time. The old growth forests, the winding trails and changing clouds, these are the things that inspire the creative and it is obvious amongst the people in the area.

Cariboo Country has a rich history and so many unique events and spots to visit. If you are Canadian I say, “See Canada” and then you can discover the world.

That being said nothing will stop me from discovering Paris with my husband to someday. At some point in the not to distant future we will go to alleviate the pain of empty nest syndrome. We will go then even if I have not been to the Maritimes yet.
