The museum is wonderful. Also the Sistine Chapel. Don’t miss Michaelangelo’s greatest painting, the Last Judgement. St. Peter’s is a magnificent architectural wonder. But the inside is the least holy place I’ve ever been – a marble celebration of old popes, many of which spend more time on the battlefield than in church.
