definitely more laid back than Ho Chi Minh City but the weather is cooler. this is where the seat of government is located and most central offices of the government can be found here.

now known as Ho Chi Minh City

a very busy city by day with lots of bikers and motorists plying around the city. the food is great but quite expensive compared to food prices in Manila. be wary of snatchers if you happen to go to the markets or in busy streets. night life is not as fun as in my country of origin but you’ll get by it if you’ll have local friends who will show you around.

a place to spend your money

my last visit in this place was sometime on 2003 and had a chance to see their new airport then. i have a friend here who entertained us and took time out to show us around. HK is a very colorful place especially at nights but be sure to bring some purchasing power to enjoy the city more. likewise, be sure to obey the local laws or whatever signs you’ll see coz people here are law abiding citizens.
