Being a girl from Dirty Jersey, I was immediately attracted to the manners people have here. “Yes ma’am,” “No ma’am,” opening doors for women, etc, is such a turn-on. It is such a beautiful place. The relaxed feeling and politeness makes me want to move there. Lafayette is a great little town that’s beginning to grow, and New Orleans is historic and fun at the same time. A friend living there brought me there, and the people made me stay.
