I’ve been here in 2000, and wants to visit again! :)

I have been to this small town in 2002 for some urgent works. Though small, there’s a lot of transaction of goods between Burma and India. And i bought some stuffs at relatively cheap prices.

I’ve been here for a couple of times visiting my Unty. Its a place where different ethnic groups belonging to Kuki-Chins live together.

Did my Graduation, Master and Ph.D from this University.

I Live Here for the Past 8 Years

Saikul is located about 25 Miles north of Imphal. On the way to Saikul, my little village called ‘Khokon’ is located. I have been in this small town for about 5 years and passed my HSLC from here. Even though its a small town the people here are kind hearted and i missed them lot.

Even though i was born in Manipur ,i have not been to this place. After so many years away from my hometown, i happen to visit Imphal for an ICSSR Seminar. At the end of this seminar we visit LOKTAK and to my surprise, i can say “WOW LOKTAK”. Its a must to visit place if you happen to be in Imphal/Manipur.
