Ugh.

I went here when I was 8 or 9. Even then, I recognized it as being ridiculously campy, and not in a good way. The best thing: the miles and MILES of signs tempting you to go. I’d just skip it and go to the Badlands.

It’s a different world, but very beautiful. I highly recommend learning at least some rudimentary Spanish before visiting. It really enriches the experience, and it’s just the polite thing to do!

I went up here when I was a teenager. The drive from Kalispell up into Alberta is breathtaking. Just be sure to not make Waterton Park your final destination. It’s pretty touristy (apologies to the locals!)
