Worth visiting!
The Lao people are probably some of the most laid back in Asia. Laos is also the most heavily bombed country on earth! It took us 12 hours to go 400km in Laos, from Luang Prubang to Vientane. The highlight was a 2 day slowboat down the Mekong. The worst part was a lovely stomach bug I caught in Luang Prubang!

Worth visiting!
Spent a week in Bangkok, 5 days in Chiang Mai and 1 day in Chiang Khong and an evening in Trat. Mainly used Thailand as a gateway to cross overland into Laos (both at Huay Xai and Nong Khai) and Cambodia (Poipet & Koh Khong). Would like to go back and explore Ayutthaya and the Southern Islands. I enjoyed Thailand.
