i went, but i didn’t get to try and say ‘ak-ron’ to anyone…there is always the next time.

so i went. it was great. severely cold, but really great. ohio was nice, which was a big surprise for me.

i hate long island. i still love it, but i’m in the midst of an existential crisis and i need to get out. i don’t know precisely why i’m choosing baltimore, maryland to move to, but i’m gonna do it.

i grew up in middle island, NY. i still live here, and the only reason i may leave is due to the cost of living (the only reason my mom can live here is because she bought her house over 20 years ago, before it was so expensive), but i’d be so miserable anywhere else. i love the atlantic and i love the sound (the long island sound, that is), and we have one of the only pine barrens IN THE WORLD out here..which won’t interest you unless you’re an environmental science buff like me, but whatever.
so go to long island, but leave after a couple of days please, because this place is overcrowded enough.

i plan to go here because mr.ohio-native boyfriend of mine says that if i walk in there saying ‘akron’ like i do (which is ak-rahn, as opposed to the “proper” ak-rin) that someone will most definately try to beat me up. i want to see if he’s right.

i only want to go here because it’s where my boyfriend is from. if it wasn’t for him, i would have gladly stayed away from ohio for the rest of my life, cause that place is boondocks to me. no offense to any ohio-ans.
