Exciting!

After a 22-hour flight, am glad to say it was worth it! Efficient transportation, beautiful skyline, bargain buys, top-brand shopping…
The fusion of East and West is intoxicating.

I loved the view from The Peak, walking along the Avenue of the stars overlooking Victoria Harbour, did I say EXCELLENTSHOPPING? And on my second visit there (just had to go back!) visited Lamma Island to see the Big Buddha, more shopping and visited Ocean Park, loved the Panda bears!


Also ice-skated at the Festival Walk and ate dip-sum (sp?) in Tsim Sha Tsui. I’d love to visit again! over 4 years ago

Unbelievably beautiful!
I loved the view from the Table Mountain at sunset on a clear sky day, enjoyed watching whales up-close, and loved Cape Point and the beach at Camps Bay. The V&A waterfront is a nice place to wind down. The food and wine is great and there’s a nice party scene.
On the other hand, use public transport only if you must, the minivan park in town stinks (literally!), and the city council should do something about the litter in parts of town.
All in all, worth the visit for the natural beauty alone!
