I’ve been here a couple of times. It’s a big store, has some nice surf type clothes, and if you’re looking for something specific, you’ll probably find it. However, I think it is overrated and not really full of bargains.
over 5 years agoIf you don’t want to go out on a boat, there is a great little beach where you can snorkle- Paradise Cove. It’s across the island from Freeport, so it costs a little more for the taxi ride- but I thought it was worth it to get away from the crowds and the commercial feeling. Also interesting to see the beaten down trees from all the hurricanes in 2004. I thought we had it bad here in Florida.
over 5 years agoTake an “unapproved” taxi, visit the Pork Pit and get your hair braided. Don’t forget to drink some Red Stripe and buy Blue Mountain coffee at the grocery store, not at the rip-off tourist shops.
