I was interviewing for grad school at Dartmouth last weekend. It was quite picturesque.

Come on! Zero people want to visit Binghamton? It’s the Carousel Capital of the World!

I go to school here, and I think it’s a nice place, not too different in many respects from Syracuse, where I grew up.

I enjoyed the city and seeing poutine for the first time. My friends and I went to a pretty kickass creperie, as well. It was here that I learned that Carlsburg’s ad campaign is “Probably the best beer on Earth,” had the most delicious lemonade I’ve ever tasted, and got wasted in DDR by some chick who was probably 5 years younger than me.

Beautiful. Just beautiful. Why did I live only 3 hours away for 20 years and never visit until now?

I had an biogeochemical research fellowship for 8 weeks this past summer. I had an amazing time. My college isn’t situated in a college town, per se, so this was a fun change of pace. There’s a really cute yarn store in nearby Centre Hall.

I went here to visit cousins when I was much younger, maybe 12 years ago now. I remember I got sick and only ended up going into the city once, but I enjoyed it very much. My family and I went to Pike’s Place, the Space Needle, and some science museum. I don’t remember much else, but I would love to return.

Summer 2005 was the summer of Torontonian concerts. Even though I live 4 hours away, I went to see two concerts in a month in Toronto. I liked everything about it, except that a lot of the drivers thought it was an awesome idea to pass on the right. The city itself is very nicely situated.
