I fell in love with the breathtaking views of this area. The idea of waking up in the morning to glorious mountains and clear air took my breath away. Check out Tamarack, Theatre West Virginia, New River Gorge National Park, and Glade Springs Creek.

It’s a nice place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live here. While this will always be my home, there are bigger and better things out there than this small Southern town. This place really needs something to offer it citizens and some good jobs to keep people there. There are great historic things to do there, IF you can find them actually open i.e – Peavey museum, Dentzel carousel, Temple Theatre. Hometown to Jimmy Rogers, Hartley Peavey, Sela Ward, and Elliott Street
