San Diego Zoo

Worth visiting!

Untitled

Don’t try to see the whole zoo.
we did, but it is repetitive. I think they planned it so that all animals can be seen without touring the whole place.

The sky view thing was really nice.

Oh, and in the evenings there are peacocks that just roam about.

San Diego

Worth visiting!

(the picture is of the inn next to ours)

Though it was busy, the people we met were very friendly and I enjoyed the trip.
We stayed at the Day Inn in Hotel Circle. I recommend this particular hotel because (despite the fact that some Day Inns are really crummy) this Inn was very nice and the swimming pool is absolutely stunning at night.
The pool is kind of hidden and surrounded by trees so that the only thing you see are the stars above. I loved it.

Tuscaloosa

Not worth visiting!

I live here too.
But the moist sub-tropic atmosphere is not for me.

Reno

Worth visiting!

I wouldn't recommend it for tourists.

Really, the only thing that tourists would want in Reno would be the casinos and gambling.

But I grew up there, and love the city with all of my heart for the climate and beauty.

Yosemite National Park

Worth visiting!

tip

Go in/around spring and not in late summer, because by the time we hiked 7 miles to see Upper Yosemite Falls, it was just a wet spot on the side of the cliff.
We also passed Mirror Lake thinking it was a pond.
Even still, Yosemite is a wonderful experience well worth your efforts.

New Orleans

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

I’ve only been once, but I would go there again at any chance I get. Forget about people telling you the streets are filled with crime and all that crap. New Orleans is definitely worth your time. I recommend the Riverboat Natchez criuse, it is so nice, they even provide a buffet on the boat. I also encourage you to go the French Quarter, you can find so many unique and often handmade pieces there.
