Eufaula

Worth visiting!

I live near here

It is a pretty little town. They take such care with the scenic part of the town. Every year they have a tour of the old homes, very cool.
Some of the old homes shown in “Sweet Home Alabama” were filmed here.

Great Wall

(in China > Beijing)
Unbelievable

It never ceases to amaze me how crafty humans were in the olden times. The new technology of today makes us lazy. Machines of today could never create anything as wonderful as some of the ancient ruins of yesterday.

Words Evade Me...

There just are not words to tell how beautiful this place is. I would want to avoid the ‘tourist’ places as much as possible.
But I would have to see the lava streaming into the ocean, that would be too cool!
My ex-fiance went to high school here and told me of all kind of neat stuff. We wanted to go there together, but he passed away a couple of years ago. I still want to go, I know he will be with me!

Redwood National Park

I am a bit of a 'tree-hugger'!

I live in the ‘sticks’ in Alabama, surrounded by forestry land. I cry every time they come and cut down the trees. I know that we have to have wood, but what kills me is how they cut down the hardwood trees to get to the pines. Then they just leave the hard woods to root. Such a waste.
I really want to see the redwoods, to be able to see what nature could do if not for us humans!

Olympic National Park

Worth visiting!

I would have liked to have been able to hike

I had never seen so many mountains at one time{I am a Florida girl!}. It was really pretty. The day was a bit cloudy, so I did not get the best pics, but it was really nice anyway.
The deer were eating the salt off of the road, and was not at all afraid of us.
If I had been able to take the hike, I am sure that I would have loved it even more. I am glad that we took the day to see the Olympics though.

Yosemite National Park

I Love 'Pretty'

And I definately think that Yosemite qualifies as such! It sucks that I am not in good health, because I would love to be able to hike and camp and all of that fun stuff.
Non the less, I would just love to see the place at least once.

Before they cut it all down...

It is so sad that man has to destroy everything untouched and beautiful. All in the name of progress. Do they not understand {or care} that there are some things that can not be replaced?

The only reason I would ever want to go to New York

I want to see all of the Wonders of the World.
No offense to anyone, but that would be the one and only reason I would ever want to go to New York. There is just too many people, and they all act like they are mad at the world.

Grand Canyon National Park

Mother Nature At Her Finest

I don’t know about riding a donkey, but it would be worth the butt bruises.
I live near Providence Canyon State Park {Georgia}, which is like a mini version. It is awesome. I can not even imagine how wonderful the Grand Canyon would be!

ancient ruins

I love anywhere that has ancient ruins. Maybe because I live in the USA, and we don’t have any.
Reguardless, I would love to go one day.
