for 6 days! yeehaw! so excited- I can hardly wait. I want to start packing now!

not the best place to be searching for a motel room at night… it took hours and we spent a ridiculous amount of money to be five miles inland. Our fault, the rest of the trip was fun- even if the ocean was full of jellyfish.

won my heart forever by telling me he dreamed of taking me to Prague on a train- he said it was the most beautiful city in Europe. So now I have to go to regain my heart and that sense of adventure for my solo gal self.

in the middle of the night from Athens, GA was a late night drive to Folly Beach to see the sun rise over the Atlantic. There are great little seafood restaurants and a delicious breakfast diner I always stumbled into, even though I never remembered its name. And even when we slept on the beach, the people who lived there never ran us off- one older gentleman walking his dog in the a.m. even let us know we should move our car to a new hiding spot, so the police wouldn’t ticket it after 9.

and I have never been. How sad is that? Time to get on my travelin’ shoes and see the “homeland”.

but I was in high school and hardly able to have an appropriately trashy time while I was there. I did go on all of the historic tours, so next time, I’ll be completely free to be as trashy as I wanna be!

Next time I will stay at the Super 8- same access to everything with half the price tag. More money to gamble :). I need table gambling lessons- I stuck to video poker, because I was too intimidated to learn anything else.
