When I was studying in Thailand, I went to school with a prince from Bhutan! Before this, I’d never even heard of the place. But after meeting Bhutanese peers and tasting their food, my interest definitely peaked. The representatives of their culture we had on campus were all lovely and generous people. I think it’d be a fun place to visit.
over 5 years agoI lived in Pathum Thani for four months and had a lovely time. The food in this area was the best I had in Thailand!! I would go back in a heartbeat. There’s not much here for tourists, mind. But it’s definitely a nice change of pace from the overgrown mania that is Bangkok, and cab rides into the city are only around $5-6.
over 5 years agoThis is really a beautiful city. I mostly didn’t have fun there because I couldn’t handle the richness of the food and threw up on the side of the river. I think I’ve said too much?
