Seattle Underground Tour

Worth visiting!

Interesting tour

This tour was great! I actually did it twice, 2 years apart. I learned all this cool information about Seattle’s history that I had never heard before.

Cape Cod

Such a relaxing place

While vacationing in Boston we spent a couple of days in Yarmouth Port so we could visit the Edward Gorey Museum. What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy life. The locals are ever so hospitable! I will definitely go again when I get the chance.

Fall River

Worth visiting!

Lizzie Borden b&b

We only went to Fall River to stay at the Lizzie Borden b&b – which I might add was loads of creepy fun. We also managed to visit the Fall River historical museum, and meet some wondeful locals. We had an excellent meal at the Abbey Grill, which is a Culinary School in a renovated church. If you want the fine dining experience, without the price tag this is the place to go. The food was scrumptious and the service was excellent.

Awesome city! My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here. Nice to visit a bustling city after living in Seattle for 5 yrs.

I must go one of these days!

An australian friend of mine has been in Paris doing freelance costume design for 4+ yrs now and I desperately want to see her. It is also a chance to get to see Paris which I imagine must be gorgeous.

Vancouver

Worth visiting!

I had a ball in Vancouver

I have been here but cannot remember a great deal due to the excessive amounts of alcohol consumed. We did stay at a cool hotel on Robson street, near all the action. Which is where we found a cool bar that served awesome cocktails. We dined at Cafe Il Nido and as far as authentic italian is concerned the food was to die for. Not a cheap meal but well worth the the money spent! This city reminded me of Sydney. It had a similar vibe about it – fast, fun and way cool!

North Korea

(in Asia)

Worth visiting!

What a great city!

I have been to Korea on 3 different occasions and love the place. Everyone was very friendly, and slightly obsessed with my blonde hair and ‘big’ blue eyes. I had a great time and went crazy shopping, seeing the sites and getting lost in the city. People are so keen to help, that a couple of guys tried to help me find my bearings on the map – problem being that they didn’t know what they were doing either? I eventually found my way home. Another time I was lost again, so I asked some ladies who just happened to be mobile beauty experts for directions. They obviously thought I needed my eyebrows waxed? Which is what happened, in the middle of the street, but again I eventually found my way home.

Worth visiting!

What a memorable experience!

One suggestion, if you are going in the middle of winter make sure you take lots of warm clothing! At -35 degrees it was freezing. But what an absolutely beautiful place. My husband would travel alot to Korea on business, and I would tag along for the shopping. We decided to go to Mongolia because we wanted to see a place that wasn’t swarming with tourists. We met a lovely local girl who showed us around, and tried to teach us some of the language – I didn’t fare too well but I had fun trying. I think more Westerners should go there. It was nice to be in a place where people had very liitle, but were happy. It did show me how much I take for granted.

I want to go now

I have an Australian musician friend who is now living in Austria, and has been there for about 4 yrs now. I would love to see how she lives and see how she has adapted to the different culture.

Bondi

Worth visiting!

I still call Australia home

My husband and I are Australians that have been living in Seattle, WA for 5 years now. We go home every couple of years and once I hit Bondi Beach I just don’t want to leave. Sydney is one of the best places in the world. Throughout the year Qantas Airlines has some really cool airfares, I have seen them get as low as $800 return! Sydney has everything you could ever want, the lifestyle, the sun, the surf and the sexy beach bodies!
