Montenegro, Europe

Untitled

I just missed visiting Montenegro when I was in BiH and Croatia last year. I’d really wanted to go to see the fjords and, in general, to let the country impress me on its own terms since I have no real expectations. Seems there’s never enough time to see everything you want to see while traveling. One day. I will make it there…

Kyoto, Kyōto-fu

Peru, South America

Untitled

I’ve wanted to go to Peru for years. It’s become a running joke. At first, I wanted to hike the Inca Trail. As the years progressed, however, I had to admit/accept that an old knee injury would keep me from doing that but I still wanted to go – partly for the experience of being in the Andes, and partly to not let something like an injury limit my life.

Sadly, I’m supposed to be in Peru as I type this. I had plane tickets and everything; however, a few weeks ago I re-injured my knee and had to cancel the trip. One day I will get there. One day.
