Outer Hebrides, Scotland

A bit odd, but worth a visit

It’s quiet. Almost too quiet.

If you want to get away from it all, you can’t do much better than the outer hebrides. Well worth a visit though. The scenery is lovely, Callanish is impressive (especially on the solstice) and everyone is really friendly. And if you want to buy tweed you just can’t beat it.

The Original Starbucks Location, Pike Place Market

Good coffee

Not only is it the first starbucks, but it’s unlike any other.

If you’re going the best time is early in the morning when it’s quiet. The staff were really friendly and chatty, the coffee was really good and there were loads of interesting people (like the gaggle of chinese nuns).

Not worth the hassle

The scenery is incredible. Absolutely beautiful.

The people are anally retentive, everything is expensive and the place is packed with tourists.

Not worth the hassle.
