Metropolitan Museum Of Art, Museum Mile

Untitled

I was in NYC for new years 2008 and only had a few days to see as much as I possibly could. I whizzed through the Met and was simply astonished at the number of types of art and artifacts. I could have easily spent years looking at their collection. It was absolutely fascinating and I can’t wait to go again, hopefully at a quieter time if there even is one at the Met.

New York City, New York State

New Years 2007

My dad and I celebrated New Years in Times Square and it was thoroughly amazing! Yes, it was cold and we stood around for 8 hours to be 5 blocks from the ball drop, but we could clearly see it and it was just like being at the world’s biggest party. We had no problems, saw no fights or anything, and everyone was really happy and excited. You are surrounded by people from all walks of life speaking all different languages and all celebrating together. It was very fun and I’d love to do it again!
