great golf courses – some of the best around. anything else? nope

i went a long time ago even before the Burg was completed, and it was amazing to discover the richness of the place and how international it was – more than 70% of the place was expats. Jumeira Beach was still being built out and some of the hotels that line it today were still under construction. Would I go back? Absolutely!

and close to lots and lots and lots of wine :)

you would not imagine how cosmopolitan copenhagen is. feels a bit like new york in spots but on a much smaller scale, but a definite European flair. At least a single visit…..

Believe everything you read and hear about – exotic just about describes it…..

You have to love everything about Thailand, be it the city or the beach resort. One of the most amazing things about it is the amazing people – they are friendly and accomodating and always smiling (genuinely I might add). I’ve been to Bangkok several times, and despite the crazy buzz of the city and the mad traffic, there is an amazing aura about the place. And the food, and the amazing sights and sounds…...it is so well worth a visit.

my very first trip to australia, my introduction to all things australian and my very first bungee jump overlooking the Gold Coast…..well worth at least a visit.

Everyone was wondering when I told them where it was, why the most remote island, and there are so many things to remember about the place. One of the most amazing scenes is being on the top of Waimea Canyon and looking at the most amazing scene on Earth – an amazing combination of the most shades of green, and shades of blue like I have never seen in my life. It was even better when our local guide started telling us local stories and myths about the place, and then told us a few weeks of the year, you could actually be on the sea at the bottom of the canyon, kayaking away and also living in small little caves all along the coast! Amazing and not to be missed….....

It’s neither China nor Hong Kong, and I think Taipei is struggling for an identity as a city. I definitely love and appreciate all my Taiwanese friends, and I know there are probably bits outside Taipei worth visiting, but it was very middle of the road and not impressive after visiting a couple of times.

On a clear day, with no fog hindering your sights, complete and utter magic!
