I’d feel bad saying not worth visiting since this is my motherland, but I can’t say it’s my favourite place in the world. Constant blackouts and mosquito bites are just not my thing. But there are some nice beaches there and I think I’ve had some of the most delicious fruit in my life in the DR.

I’d go there just for the mangoes!

I love it. Go on October 9th, John Lennon’s birthday. Tons of beatles fans go and sing beatles/lennon songs all day long. It’s fantastic. I’ve never gone on the anniversary of his death (december 8), but I’m sure lots of people go on that day too!
