Islay is beautiful, especially the beaches, camping in the dunes at Kintra is great. We go here almost every year and never get tired of it. Also the Whisky is very good ;-)

Iceland

I am going to Iceland again in 1 week for the 4th time. I love it. I have been both summer and winter, but must say I prefer winter, especially if it snows. The people are so friendly, there are fantastic museums and galleries (shame the penis museum is no longer there!) in Reykjavik and wonderful scenery just minutes out of the city centre and all around Iceland. Hiring a 4×4 this time, really looking forward to getting out and about and hopefully seeing the northern lights.
