    Cafe Racer Espresso

    Worth visiting!

My new favorite place  — 1 year ago

I was raised in the city and hate to admit this, but I’m a big NASCAR fan. I don’t buy into any of the redneck crap, but I love speed and racing.
So. . . I found a kindred spirit in the owner, Kurt. He has invited me over any Sunday morning to watch races on the big screen in the back room. I finally went one Sunday morning not long ago.
It was awesome!! Breakfast was served to me while I watched the race – REAL corned beef in the hash – my coffee was refilled, and when I switched to beer they accommodated me, there, also.
There is rotating art on the walls, 5 or 6 tables up front, great music, two couches in the back, and a huge games table.

    Hazlewood

    Worth visiting!

Why I recommend this place to visitors  — 1 year ago

‘Cause Jessica is awesome, and helped me figure out my signature drink. Drew is cool, too, and they are both good listeners, like real bartenders should be. I tend to go here in the late afternoon on weekdays, because it is so small . . .

    Pike Place Market

    Worth visiting!

Not just for the flying fish . . .  — 2 years ago

There are some really good deals on fresh vegetables and fruit (in season) and some great funky shops down below to wander through. I’ve lived here my whole life (43 years) and still find undiscoverd corners.
