My grandparents and aunt/uncle live in a suburb of Tampa, so for someone who has visited often, Tampa has lost its magic (if there ever was any in the first place). Plus, I HATE Florida. The bugs, the heat…it’s just gross!
over 5 years agoSummerfest is the place to go. Free music and excellent food…plus a bunch of drunks to make you smile. It’s a sweaty, loud, drunken, 10 day fiesta. I recommend it!
over 5 years agoI visited Thunder Bay on a northern journey with my friend Lori to pick up her brother-in-law. We saw ONLY the airport, but the countryside was BEAUTIFUL and I would love to visit here again. For a midwesterner, the most amazing thing was seeing the MOOSECROSSING signs…I mean, can you imagine? My experience with Canada made me want to go again!
