If you like a smaller community's feel

but want the jobs/services of DC near by, this is the place to live.

Instead of some anonymous suburb like Vienna, you get a town with a rich history which is pedestrian friendly, picturesque and filled with decent (or better) dining options.

Jeanne has the right idea...

If/When I go, certainly fly into Zambia rather than Zimbabwe; with Mugabe behaving as he does, it really isn’t safe in Zimbabwe it would seem (and State Department advisories declare as much).
