Riverfront Park, Spokane

Riverfront Park home of Expo 74

Riverfront Park is a beautiful outing for a family visiting Spokane. It is the home of Expo 74. The sites include the IMAX Theatre, indoor arcade, beautiful grounds, an outdoor theatre, a grand clock tower, pathways and bike ways, a big red Radio Flyer wagon slide, a wonderful antique merry go round, and a garbage eating goat. In the winter, there is ice skating and in the summer music on the lawns. Several events are held in this popular Spokane spot! It also skirts the downtown shopping center and a terrific renovated flour mill that is full of little specialty stores.

Beautiful City!

Beautiful city. It is great to be at the beach at sunset. Then go have a glass of wine on 5th Ave. The city is not for kids, but is a romantic place for couples. I would go back in a minute!
