i was pretty young, probably too young to enjoy NYC but upstate was so pretty and green it was almost a different world.

Old St Augustine is pretty cool. Just ignore all the standard tourist shops and pretent it’s 1700 or something and it’s neat.

I lived here, and didn’t like living here. But the mountains outside the city were fantastic, and usually much cooler than in town.

Bandon used to be a pretty sleepy little town. Then came the golf course… if you’re into golfing, i guess that’s the place to go. It’s fast becoming impossible for the locals to afford living there.

I lived in North Bend and Coos Bay for 10 years.

the drive across the desert from Eugene through Bend and the Steens was great. Ontario itself is not particularly spectacular. It’s right next to Idaho?

Was great stopping for a break here on our way back to PHX after going over Four Peaks.

i always loved Catalina. I used to camp there when i was a kid, and my family spent a lot of summer weekends in Avalon.

well, i was 8, and my mom and i went on a Wagon Train through the Tetons. We spent 3 days in the city in 1978, back when it was still small and beautiful.
