Wonderful if you want to be close to both Girona and Barcelona. Its set in a bay with a mountain behind and an island in front, which is protected and open to snorkelers and scuba divers (which is exceptionally beautiful to see) The people are wonderful and i have to reccomend Bryliz bar if your English, ran by Bryan and Liz, a very sociable northen couple who will advise you on anything you need. Also the harbour restaurant if you like a good paella! Most of the bars and clubs are behind the town so they do have them, dont worry, but they make an excellent home route for the pub crawl as the hotels are behind too! All in all its a lovely place to go as i have been several times and dont tire in going.

it is so beautiful,clear seas and white sand. very peaceful and compared to marmaris its a different world. if you go to marmaris it is definately a must do, just accross the bay and a welcome break (you will know what i mean if you go to m.)

my family emigrated when i was a lot younger and my younger sister was born there. my father worked in the gold mines and i was so sick of safari every summer with old relatives that came over that i begged to come home to England. It is very beautiful and the people are wonderful. some of my best childhood memories were when i lived there because nobody worries and its so open and hot and peaceful.
