My mom was born in Amsterdam, and I’d love to go with her one day and see if I have family there. Wish I spoke Dutch! :)

The food here is soooo good! It’s the best in Victoria, I think…. very cute scene, especially when they have live bands play – sometimes it is a little loud, and it can be interesting because the tables are very close together, but it is the greatest little place to eat in the city.

I lived here for 10 years and it’s amazing, but small! I live in Boston now, and I don’t think I could ever go back to living in Victoria, but for a trip for a week or so, it’s totally worth it.

I lived here for a couple years, and its one of the prettiest cities there is…. definitely check it out

I just bought my plane ticket for January – I’m so excited! Of course, I’m not really looking forward to the 13 hour flight, but I’ve always wanted to go to Honolulu, so I’m really looking forward to it. Any hints or particular places I have to see? I’m going to Waikiki…

This has to be one of Europe’s best kept secrets… it is such a beautiful town…. there’s such a wonderful charm and romanticism, especially when you walk through the town and up to the church. I highly recommend the Potato Cream soup at the main restaurant in the town – it’s right before you walk up the hill to the Tourist center. It is the best homemade soup I’ve ever tasted!!

I went to Venice and stayed close by in this city called San Dona di Piave – it was amazing and I would definitely go back again.

I spent 10 years growing up in Guernsey, and I loved it! It’s a great place for a holiday, also, but try to go in the summer months because it’s a touch depressing in the rain. There are some lovely shops by the harbour and great biking tours along the beaches (like Le Ray) that you should take advantage of. Also, watch out for the driving – the lanes are very narrow, and it can be interesting when there are more than 2 cars on the road!

I spent last summer studying music in Germany and Austria, and it was an amazing experience. I love the European culture!

Canadian squirrels are very special ;) No, really, this is a beautiful campus, and as an alum, I can say that it’s one of the most relaxing, natural places I can imagine.
