My big bro was visiting from out of town and we decided to grab a pie while we killed time before our matinee movie. We ordered a pitcher of beer along with our pizza, which was divine. I still have dreams about the yumminess.

I’ve always been attracted to the idea of Seattle: a city by the water, cool, rainy, alive, coffee, hot music scene…but now I have a great excuse to visit. One of my good friends, Julie, moved to Seattle last year and it’s about time I fly to see her. I’ll be able to check off this city from my ‘43places’ list in about a week!

I had such a great time visiting my friend Molly at the end of April! It was my first time in the L.A. area as an adult and spent most of my time in Santa Monica. While I wouldn’t live in Southern California, this trip provided a new appreciation for the place.

I was in Costa Rica for a few days last week and received my first stamp for it in my passport! wheee! A friend and I spent a few days in the beach town of Jaco and had an awesome time! We mostly just hung out at the beach, enjoyed some good food and even tried surfing on our last day.

I definitely want to go back with more time and check out all the awesome things I learned about.

I first came to Puerto Rico by way of vacation, and then moved here in June of last year. After having lived here for eight months I’m still adjusting! Caribbean living is very different from the mainland but lovely. I still have soo much to learn and explore but I’m enjoying every moment of my caribbeanization. ;)

I’m a flight attendant and have flown to the D.R. many times, but have never had the chance to stay there. I’m looking forward to it, because from what I’ve seen it’s gorgeous.

I’ve been to Denver/Aurora just a couple of times with family (when I was like 16 years old), but I’m going back next month to visit a good friend of mine. I’m looking forward to taking another look.

I am a huuuge Frida Kahlo fan and would love to see her home and this side of Mexico.
