god. venice beach was just amazing. i lived on the beach for three weeks this summer. i was homeless out there and befriended a lot of people. everyone is carefree. the night life is amazing. anything you could ever imagine seeing…you will see in venice. i remember my first night there i saw a man riding a long board, playing the saxaphone, while his dog “hanged-ten” in the front. i danced in the drum circle and saw more than my fair share of naked privates. i was approached by a man who declared to me that i was free to be whoever i wanted to be and i should start living now. i stood around and spun drunk on the beach as fireworks were set off in santa monica. i hid from the cops. had sex under a lifegaurd tower. and learned more about myself and the world then most people learn in a lifetime.

even if you don’t go out and actually sleep on the beach…you will learn more than you have learned that all your years of “living”.
