I’m dying to go to Vancouver, and think I will this year, it’s gay-friendly, and same-sex marriage is legal!! Wahooooo!!!
Besides, it looks like it’s a beautiful place, can’t wait to ride the Skytrain!
Worth visiting!
It’s a quiet, residential district. A couple of notable things are Trinity College and Washington Hospital Center; there’s nothing ‘touristy’ in Brookland. I’ve lived here for 3 years, if you’re looking for a quiet place in the city where the prices aren’t too high, where you’re close to Metro and bus lines, 15 minutes away from the Beltway and 15 minutes away from Route 50, where you’re close to downtown but not so close that you can’t park on the street, and where you can see trees, Brookland is the place to look.

I found out about it maybe a week ago from a link in a friend’s Blogger page. I think it’s great; it’s certainly different, and it’s very interesting, the things you can learn and the people you can meet. Seems like everytime I come here I end up going in a different direction, but it’s always a fun trip!
