i live around the corner from it; i’ve literally passed down yawkey every day for two years. got free tickets through work, and while i’ve never been a huge baseball fan, it was worth it to see it once. it’s a whole different, crazy world behind its walls, all this energy closed into one little city block.

the place itself: meh. anyone i’ve ever met who grew up here : awesome.

I was only in Scotland a few hours; I took the train up from London in the morning and left that evening. That crazy run I had around Glasgow trying to see as much as I could all at once, not even having the cash to grab a biscuit at the Willow Tea Room, making connections with a couple locals—it all made me want to return as soon as I could.

I’m so glad we basically stayed away from Waikiki the whole week… we drove around getting to know the rest of O’ahu and its beauty. By the last day, when we had to head back into Honolulu, I already missed the island’s pace.
