In my experience, you only need a couple of hours to check out everything that’s worth seeing in Pisa. Florence is much more interesting.

Even Better Than I Anticipated

In January 2006, I spent four days near Palma de Mallorca and traveled all across the island. Despite all of the ugly touristy places, you can still discover many beautiful spots. Palma is particularly nice … don’t miss out on it when visiting Mallorca.

Venezia, Veneto

An 'Acquired Taste'

I visited Venice in February 2006 for the first time. My initial impression: It’s like an uglier and dirtier version of Disneyland, with more annoying tourists, more pushing and shoving, and inferior service. ;-)

Since I realized myself that this rash judgment may be unfair, I’ll give the city another chance this September.
