Into Thin Air

I’ve wanted to climb mount Everest ever since I read "Into Thin Air ":http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0385494785/ref=cm_rv_thx_view/102-3833942-5994551?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance

– a story of a doomed 1996 climbing expedition. A bunch of people died that year and many more have since. I’m no climbing expert (big hills are hard to come by in Australia) and I’m no fitness freak but deep down I entertain the idea that if I really wanted to, I could make it happen and reach the top of the world

As a Sydneysider I’m biased – I love the Opera House. While I’m not a fan of opera per say who can resist this stunning building. Inside and out it is a treat to the eyes. Opera, theatre, live music, special events, great bars and restaurants the Sydney Opera House has it all. No visit to Sydney is complete without a visit.
