I stopped at the Ramada Inn here (I think..) with my sister and 2 friends on our way to the Mall of America… and the window in the room opened sideways into the hallway… so I guess all the driving got to our brains because we had way too much fun pretending it was a window for an ice cream truck or a mexican food stand or something… hahahha.

and her mom and brother still live here, along with my cousins… last time i spoke with my cousin, she said she hates it cuz it’s boring and she wants to leave.. i can’t imagine any place without a diner you can go to at 3am if you wanted to, so i don’t blame her.

I think it’s funny how Disney tries to hard to keep people happy (or on a disney-high..) Like, disney music playing magically from the bushes? Also, there was one song that i think is non-disney that i heard at least 5 times a day in the food/gift/pool area here.. not sure who sings it, but it goes “The tide is high But I’m holding on I’m gonna be your number one” so now, whenever I hear it, I think of my band trip here.

I went to disney on a band trip when i was a senior in high school, and I decided to have a bacon cheeseburger at every meal i could order one (and also gained a few pounds, haha. it was worth it.) For whatever reason, they were the BEST here. Maybe because I remember there being a toppings bar, and I put everything on it? =D

I planned a road trip here a 4 years ago while I was in high school after watching a show on the travel channel about it, and it was very successful!! It took a few days to walk through the entire mall, but we did it! The highlights of our trip: camp snoopy, spongbob in the aquarium, the chapel, hard rock cafe, the general mills cereal adventure!, and so much more… surprisingly, the parking was easy to navigate and I didn’t get lost inside the mall. I even get lost in the malls where I live (which is a sad thing for someone from jersey, with malls everywhere…) Overall, a great adventure, and I hope to go back again =)

Try the ‘cookie surprise’ ice cream =) my other favorite is key lime pie. they also have the best cheese fries ever.

oh grease trucks… the fat sandwich is part of the rutgers experience. i’ve made friends by drunkenly sharing fat mojos and once i bet someone i could get anyone to kiss me if i gave them half my sandwich at a frat party (i was right). (mojo and sam are my favorites!) the best time to have one is definitely after drinking. having the trucks behind frat row is a perfect place for them. they help the wasted college student get exactly what they want before taking the drunk bus home.

The cakes are AMAZING. and you can even go to the deli area and get some slices to go, since friday and saturday nights get really busy, and it’s annoying to wait forever just for a piece of cake.
