go to brick lane market on sundays for cheap buys and a great vibe. y you can get most household supplies for a pound here, including food, soap, dishwashing liquid and clothes (not a pound). you can also eat salty beef sandwiches, greasy food and browse at various stores selling vintage/hipster clothing. you can also have a drink at the truman brewery which has great vaulted ceilings and sunshine. come early and leave late!
