Every adventurous spirit needs to visit Alaska. It is BEAUTIFUL and well worth the trip. I would recommend taking the ferry to each and every island you can. I loved it while I lived there and if I were younger I’d go back!
over 4 years agoWhen I was 19 I moved up to Alaska from California to “find” myself. It was an awesome experience to live there for a year.
It was soooo different, VERY small town, and nobody knew me so I could start over and be anyone I wanted to. I would recommend it to anyone. The people were very down to earth. Some overly so, lol, and it took awhile to be accepted but it was well worth it! I would love to go back and explore all of Alaska but would prefer the summer time. :)
