So we went to Chicago on Friday to enjoy the day for the Chicago Auto Show. The auto show was really big and neato. It’s the largest show in america and dates back to 1901. This year, several debuts and really cool concepts were introduced, and we got to be pretty darn close to quite a few rare and expensive cars. Plenty of photos in my brand shiny new Flickr account.

There’s absolutely nothing exciting about this town. They’re sort of known for growing petunias along the roadways of the city and their arch. Also popular is a sculpture that looks like a penis with wings.

Dixon is the birthplace of Ronald Reagan and is also where John Deere got started.

It seems like I meet a lot of people around Louisville that know of or have lived in Peoria. I lived there for my younger years. It’s a nice place, but you’d better have a reason to visit or it may not seem like such an exciting visit.

Great things to see include the largest model of the solar system (spread out through the city), Bradley Campus, and you must eat at Lou’s Drive-in. (I hope I have the name of it right!)

I went last summer for an entire day and a half with a friend. Can’t wait to go back :)
